Applications and supporting documents must be submitted at least two weeks prior to Trustee meetings. This is to enable the Development Officer to provide application details and project information to the Board of Trustees prior to the meeting.

Lintel Trust supports the voluntary sector in Scotland by giving grants and loans to voluntary organisations, including housing associations and housing co-operatives. Our aim is to help people live full and independent lives in their own homes.
Lintel Trust grants are usually one-off - the normal maximum grant is £2,000 (and matched funding is a criteria for grant). Small interest free loans are also available, as is advice on alternative funding possibilities.

The project must relate to providing or supporting independent living in a secure home, or must be run by or closely involve a housing assocation, or must aim to improve people’s housing, standard of living or local community.
Organisations should have established an equal opportunities policy, and should be monitoring its efficiency. If a formal policy is not in place, organisations must be aware of and be working towards best practice in this area.
All possible sources of statutory funds (ie local authority or central government) must have been explored.
Lottery funding should also have been considered if appropriate.
