Who We Are
LintelTrust is an unendowed charitable trust that works with voluntary organisations and local communities throughout Scotland to help provide solutions for people in housing need.  We award grants to community and voluntary organisations for housing –related projects which help people to live as independently as possible in their own homes and communities.

History

LintelTrust (formerly known as SHACT - Scottish Housing Associations CharitableTrust) has been in existence for some 30 years, and relies solely on donations and income from our annual events to fund our projects.  We are unique in that we are the only charitable Trust in Scotland with a focus on supporting housing and community-related projects.  We like to work in partnership with other like-minded organisations and funding bodies to ensure that our grants and loans provide Best Value.

Outcomes
We also ensure that the outcomes from the projects we support are disseminated to as broad an audience as possible via our Annual Launch and Review, e-newsletters, and the Scottish Federation of Housing Association's 'Housing Scotland' magazine.

Our Trustees and Staff
